Inaugural meeting of the British Society of Neuroendoscopy

  • National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery Queen Square London, England, WC1B United Kingdom (map)

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural meeting of the British Neuroendoscopy Society (BNES) online from Queen Square on 27th November 2020.

The Society was founded as part of the International Federation of Neuroendoscopy (IFNE) to help the advancement of endoscopy within British neurosurgery through shared learning, training and support, and audit and research.

  • The inaugural meeting will be held online from the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in central London, where Sir Victor Horsley was the world's first surgeon appointed to a hospital post to perform brain surgery.

  • Covers the breadth of clinical applications of endoscopy in neurosurgery including skull base, ventricular, and endoscope-assisted approaches.

  • Ideally suited for consultant surgeons with a subspecialty interest in endoscopy to keep abreast of recent advances and innovations, but senior trainees will also find the meeting an excellent overview.

  • Supported by international guest speakers from the International Federation of Neuroendoscopy.

  • Accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 5 CPD points.

  • Prize available for best oral presentation.
